New DWG arriving soon..........
The new and improved, Wet Glaze version 2.0 arrives soon! Remember when we introduced Danase Wet Glaze to the forum over two years ago? It was an instant success back then! Well, now it has a following, and a reputation industry wide! Now taking pre orders as I expect this to sell out quickly. Initial supply is limited! Also, new smell! I know, I know, what what wrong with the grape? Now has some coconut added.....Slightly thicker as well.
From the manufacturer:
Wet Glaze 2.0 is made with acrylic polymers that form a very strong bond to the vehicles surface so you are sure it will not wash away like other glazes. The polymers also allow Wet Glaze 2.0 to do something that you can't even think about doing with other glazes, they allow it to be topped with a wax or sealant without any bonding or application issues! That means no streaky mess when trying to wax or seal on top of this glaze!
Top Wet Glaze 2.0 with your favorite wax or sealant for added protection and appearance...OR you can even use Wet Glaze 2.0 on top of your favorite wax or sealant for added durability and appearance to them as well! Wet Glaze 2.0 does not contain cleaners so it will not remove your wax or sealant, and if that isn't enough Wet Glaze 2.0 also repels dust! Wet Glaze 2.0 cures instantly and is very easy to remove. You won't believe how wet your vehicle looks after an application of Wet Glaze.
DIRECTIONS:
Shake well. Can be applied by hand or machine. Simply apply 2 dime size drops to a foam or microfiber hand applicator or 2 nickel size drops to a soft foam machine pad. Work the product evenly spreading a thin layer until it seems to melt into the paint. Wet Glaze can be removed instantly. Remove Wet Glaze with a WCDS Supreme, high quality microfiber towel.
Car show tip: apply Wet Glaze on top of your favorite wax or sealant for added depth, gloss, and wetness.

Patrick .. small off topic .. how is the original DWG on black .. I have a black vette to do shortly thats a repaint and there is very fine holograms in it ... I'll take those out with Opt Polish but was interested how DWG performs on black? Whats the life of the original DWG?

I may think about it...
Kind of on this same note, but with the original DWG can you apply it before OR after your LSP?

I am VERY interested in pre-ordering this glaze.
Question, Patrick. Is there a noticeable difference on applying the glaze first and then wax as compared to apply wax and then glaze? How about glaze, wax, glaze?
BTW, how do I pre-order?

The new owner, obviously a car fanatic saw DWG's potential, and reformulated it. He informed a few days ago its a couple weeks away from release.

Just order and we'll ship upon arrival. All three of your methods will work, but its ult. up to you to decide what looks the best! Sorry, theres just no simple answer.

Good news!
A recent reply from those involved in WG V2 production:
I should be ready to ship yours out by Wednesday! I had to do a second production run to keep up with the emails, calls, and pre orders so it took longer than expected. I also made a last minute change.
So for those of you, who have pre-ordered, expect shipment in about 10 days!!Thank you!

I just placed an order about 15 minutes ago. Should I expect a shipment in 10 days? I'm asking cause since I'm so late into the game that you might have run out of stock on the pre-orders.

A recent reply in a discussion about WG v2
I just tried WG2.0 on an '08 crystal metallic red C6 which has BFWD on it. WG2.0 performed as advertised...easy on/easy off, leaving a deep, wet, reflective finish which is very slick...slickness like BFWD. I used a blue LC pad on a G110 DA. I really liked DWG, but have to say WG2.0 is better.
My problem now is what to do with a shelf full of carnaubas....I think I'd rather top a sealant with WG2.0.

Another WGv2 review....
Since I never tried the original Wet Glaze by Danase, I can not comment on the differences between the two products.
Product Name: Wet Glaze 2.0
Product Container: 16 oz. container with flip top cap with hole for easy pouring.
Product Labeling: This product’s label is a professionally printed and coated label that will not smear the print if liquid or product should spill on it.
Product Characteristics:
Color: Purple
Scent: Coconut
Consistency: Thick cream.
Product Performance: I have used this product on dark and light vehicles. I was really amazed at the results on light cars. It’s as if you added another layer of brilliant clear coat to the paint. It goes on easy and comes off easy. I applied by hand with a foam applicator. This is one of the slickest wet glazes I’ve used. For you show car fans, this is the product to use if you’re looking for mirror-like shine.
On dark cars it is equally impressive. Although the instructions don’t say to let it dry before removing, it does not pose a problem if you do. I always let it dry before removing and it came off the vehicles very easily. The only thing to be careful of is applying too much. It only takes a small amount the size of two dimes on your pad or two nickels if applying by machine.
Product Price: $19.99 and definitely worth the price.
Product Safety: If one follows the instructions on the bottle there should be no safety issues.
Since applying Wet Glaze 2.0 to my wife’s silver car, I have had more people comment on how “shiny” (their words) it looked. As ********* has mentioned in another thread, the appearance of your vehicle looks even better 10-12 hours after you have applied Wet Glaze 2.0.
I have another car (black) waiting to have Wet Glaze 2.0 applied to it. I will post a picture as soon as I get a chance. The only way you will appreciate this product is to order a bottle and try it. You won’t be sorry.
