need recommendations!

i recently bought RainX car wash and wax that has carnauba wax beads. i washed my car last week with it. it worked well but from couple of days it's raining here and water beads up not too well. beads were like 1/2 inch in diameter.... is it suppose to be like that...as i saw bmw M3 last night at my work place and water beads on that car were 1 cm in diameter. is there any wax under $10 that works great. also is it fine to wash car with rainX wash n wax and wax the car with other good wax that you guys would recommend....

i used to use that stuff a while back too.. its mainly just car wash and its not protecting your car at all like real wax.. if you need OTC stuff, go to an auto parts store and just get Meguiar's NXT or something similar (~$10) and later on whenever you want to really get into washing and waxing your cars, there are great products you can buy online for a little more..

One of the best ones you will find in the $10 range is Duragloss #105 .. usually CarQuest has it or will bring it in.

I heard AutoGlym HD wax is pretty good too, it's like 50 bucks though.
But hey it's available OTC, seen it at the local pepboys and walmart.

Auto parts stores usually have a better selection, but for the good stuff, you always have to go online

For $12 and $5 shipping its worth ordering on line . A 16 oz bottle if applied properly will do 16 to 20 cars. So extreemly cost effective.
