My TLS Detail (First Time)
First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who helped me with all of my questions that I had doing this. I have included pictures of all of my products together, and pictures of my car. I didn't take before pictures of the car and the things I did take before pictures of I forgot to take the after pics. I still have alot of things to work on with the photos, but I can honestly say that I have learned a bunch after doing my car. I also have more questions.
I performed a wash, clay bar, polish, & sealant on the car using the following products
Dawn (remove old wax)
DP Engine degreaser
DP Wheel cleaner
Griots clay bar
Griots speed shine (Lube for clay)
Griots Polish 3 & 4 (Griots orange pads)
Griots Polisher
Blackfire Sealant (Griots red pads)
The biggest question I have, Is why does it seem to be harder to removed Griots polish 3 than it is 4? Does it have something to do with the different compound of the 2? Thanks again everyone. I think the car was a success and I will do a better job of taking before and after pictures on future detail jobs I do.

the products he bought in one shot cost him A LOT!!!
OP-looks good!!! love a well pampered TL. now you're going to want to keep her clean ALL THE TIME!!!
not sure about the griot's products...but i concur with jesstzn, are you leaving the polish to dry?? you could always try a little detail spray to help get it off.

Nice job, Icy. I'm a Griot's fan, but I have not tried any of their polishes yet. I've tried a lot of the other stuff, but I've got to get thru the other stuff I've accumulated first.

Jesstzn, I did the polish like I it said on the bottle. I did a small area on a panel at a time. The panels were cool and it wasn't terribly hot. Maybe I left the polish on for a tad bit to long The polish 4 went on and came off the car with no problems. On thge next vehicle I do i'll try something different
potmilkz everything in the photo was a little bit over 1,000 bucks. Starting a side job on my 7 days off so I tried to get everything that i thought that I would need in one order. I gotta recoup those funds now lol!
TLtrigirl, Thanks for the props. Also thx for the heads up on autogeek.net. I purchased 90% of my stuff from there after you posted that link on my previous thread! Thanks again!
And to set the record straight the chic in the photo is my wife. She's the photographer out of the 2 of us! Here's a pic of me checking out my swirl finder light. Again I can't say thanks enough for the help everyone has given me!

Well Steven thus far I have no complaints with their products. I would like to try the m105 and 205 later down the line but i'll stick to the Griots for the time being

Well I haven't been looking at detailing products long so I haven't heard of them. Is it a line of products offered at details domain or auto geek?
Man I'm guessing it had something to do with the compounds but someone brought up a good point about using a quick detail spray to help take it off of its hard. Also I tried my beat to get you a decent pic of all the products!
Yeah she couldn't get over how good the car looked. The guy I bought the car from rarely drove the car and took care of it. After everything I did everyone at my workplace and my friends say the car looks better than when I got it. My wife is always involved( sometimes bugging me sometimes helping but she's there lol!

Man I've been lucky enough to book all my days I had open in April. Hopefully it continues. It's suprising how many people hate washing and detailing their vehicles. I'll hook em tho

it's a car-drive it
as a female owner I love washing my car-with the pollen season in full force now I wash it every other day-But then I guess I am not that anal-no swirl finder light. I do wipe down the engine bay , clean the exhaust pipes and door jams, etc.
