mini pads

i just picked up some 4in pads in order to polish the pillars and any tight spaces. i was wondering if the motion is different when using these. lets use optimum compound and polish as an example. do i still use a speed of 5or6? do i use a faster movement?

I would operate at 3-4. 5-6 with a 5.5/6.5" is A LOT different then with a 4".

I used a shop vac for a long time ... never used the blower function because of the dirt thats in the hose blowing out.

I now use the central vac frome the house .. I have a 45 foot hose on it and an outlet at the shop door.
