Mini detail on the Odyssey

Hi All,
Over the Labor Day weekend, I've finally given the van a wash & polish.
Here's my first attempt at inserting pics here.
Thank you for all the postings and helpful people here.
Big thanks to Patrick, for suggesting me Optimum.
My process:
Wash = ONR with 2 bucket method
Polish = Optimum Polish + Finish Polish (mixed at 2:1) on white pad followed by Poliseal on white pad
LSP = Optiseal (x2)
I squeezed a coat of Danase Wet Glaze in between the Opti-seal coats.

Here's a shot of the hood:

Thanks

You'll need to post the pictures on an external source such as Photobucket or Flickr and then link them here. Direct linking from your computer won't work.

I thought optiseal was a cleaner also. Wouldn't the last coat of optiseal take off the coat of glaze?

Yes, the DWG should be used prior to a non abrasive sealant or Nuba............I would think the PS would compromise the DWG Raoul......

Hi Pat,

Yeah?
You mean, I should've done
Polish - DWG - Poliseal - Opti-seal?

I thought DWG would bond with OS.

I will try that next time.

Poliseal has light cleaners in it so use it first!
PoliSeal, Optiseal, then DWG.
According to your setup, Poliseal would remove a little DWG.

Detailing aside, cleaning the damn thing takes me a solid two hours at least, it's soo large. But it's a good vehicle.

just got our a few months ago, so far havent had to clean the inside yet. Gave a stern warning to the kids and the wife regarding food type allowed in the van. no cookies or anything that will leave crumbs.

so far so good, but I dread the day when I have to give it a full interior cleaning.

I get ya!

I try to teach my kids not to make a mess too much while in the van.

Luckily, I try to vacuum the seats everytime I get to wash it.
Good thing there's ONR, as I can take advantage of washing it while in the garage while the little ones are taking their naps.
