Meguiars vs. Zaino on Satin Silver paint!
Meguiars vs. Zaino on Satin Silver paint!
I heard that the finish with Zaino on the silver color paint does not show much difference in comparison to Mequiars Gold Class. Is this true, or should I fork out the additional dollars for Zaino?

But as for SSM on Zaino, it rocks. Check my signature for pics.

Why is the 'lasting' effect always said....its about SHINE...and of course that was the question too....not which one lasts longer.
But then again, if you live in a harsh enviroment area, you might be more interested in longevity, rather than shine.
meguiars = wax
zaino = polymer sealant
these are two different league's here.
zaino gives a great reflection on dark cars but not as well on lighter colored cars. It's protection last for months while Megs will last a couple weeks(if that). Meguiars gives a nice shine but barely any protection. It gives a nice shine to ligh colored cars)

I've never had a problem with deep shine on Satin Silver

Keep in mind, it really has more to do with the light absorbing properties of dark colors. Ever notice that even filthy dirty dark colored cars still have good reflective qualities.

I have some pictures, but I would like to post them on the thread as you have. Any suggestions on how I can go about this.
Thanks!
Hey Gabo3k. I used to use Meguiars before Zaino and the Zaino just dominates it in all areas; Shine, protectant. And you wont get those ugly swirl marks or white residue with the Zaino compared to meguiars.
Klasse =
anyways, Megs and Zaino arent even comarable. Megs DC polish is not even a polish, its a glaze. The wax is okay but not superior.
Zaino isnt even a wax. It is a polymer based sealant.
so to sum it up: polymer sealant > carnuaba.
o yeah, Klasse and Zaino are relatively the same thing for the same price, not much fdifference in between them.

Yeah, I decided to go with Zaino. It rained the day I put on my second coat, and the day after my car looked like it just came out of the wash.
