meguiars Scratch X is awesome!!

I picked up a bottle of Meguiars SCRATCH X over the weekend for my black 2002 CL-S and as everyone with a black or dark colored car knows, the shit shows scratches and swirls SOO easily....well, much to my surprise, the SCRATCH X actually works really well!! it was able to remove or conceal the majority of my scratch marks and especially the swirl marks, i have to reccommend this product to you guys!!

Yeah, I've heard good things about that stuff.

I've so far avoided any MAJOR scratches on my car. I'm so freakin' careful when I wash, it's sick. I know the day will come though...

meguiars scratch X works great on swirls...thats the key selling point..it obvioously wont work on deep scratches as only a repaint or buff job will help that, but the swirls come out pretty nicely

i am seriously considering using this stuff very soon for my black cl-s. can you please give a detailed description of how you used it. what you used to apply it, how long you left it on, what yo used to remove it, how may coats did you apply, etc?? also - do you use zaino? if so did you do a dawn wash to remove everything before using the scratch-x?

thanks a ton.

it is very wise not to use dishwashing liquids or laundry deter to wash you car, get the car wash liquid it wont remove the wax of the paint, plus the natural shine in your paint will fade off on the first use of dishwashing liquids, they are made to take the oil out of dishes the same will go for you car, try mcquire wax, i like it better than zaino, eazy to go on, its clear then it turns white just wax it off with a soft cloth or towel. i love it. use on stock rims and it gives them a wet look for weeks. ohh i used wax it only 1nce but you can do it twice. once is more than enough it sooo smooth after your wipe it off.
