Meguiar's Direct Headlight Restoration Kit

Hey guys this was my first attempt to try and restore my wifes GS400 headlights. Although its not an Acura I felt that we could all use the information about this product that could work for all makes and models.

Product: Meguiar's Direct Headlight Restoration Kit

Comes with a buffing pad that attaches to a drill
Plastic/cleaner/polisher
Microfiber towel by Meguiars (Yellow)

Walmart: $17

So dont mind the tape I used because i couldn't find any tape for the life of me and this was all I could find.

This was the before shots:

And here is my after. I had to do about 3-4 passes to make it look pretty good. I think I could have gone another pass to really make it look good, but I forgot to charge the Dewalt 18v, so batteries died.

I have never posted any pictures before, so I hope this works.

All in all it made my 10YR old car look pretty new again. I heard that the Turtle was headlight restoration kit was pretty good too, but I got sold on the fact it came with that buffing pad I could put to my Dewalt.

I am going to do this to my TL now when I detail it at the end of this month.

nice work! ive been waiting see how this kit works because I've been thinking about buying it for a while now. It didnt come with anything to seal the plastic right? I'm still trying to find something better than just a coat of wax to keep them looking good after the treatment.
