Meguair's Ultimate Compound?
Anyone with experience using this product?
I am looking for something to remove superficial scratches some minor fallout and etches in the paint of my RL. I understand this product will be stronger than usual polishes or cleaner wax, but still will not swirl the clearcoat?
Anyone who has used this product, I would appreciate your evaluation over a polish it's effectiveness and ease of use. Any drawbacks? I plan to use with a DA / orbital buffer.

Swirl X is for new paint and light stuff
Scratch X is for more aggressive stuff
and Ultimate Compound is even harder stuff
so i say try using swirl x before going to do more aggressive stuff....

Anyway, if you do something like the whole hood, or even spot treat a scratch with the Ultimate Compound, you most likely will need to use a less aggressive polish afterwards to remove any haze that it creates. I've had great success using the Ultimate Compound followed up with the Swirl-X...
Good luck!
I actually have all 3 products mentioned above - Swirl X, Scratch X 2.0, and Ultimate Compound. I can say that Ultimate Compound is definitely aggressive, and it WILL remove most scratches. I've had VERY good luck spot treating scratches with it. I apply it via a yellow Megs foam pad, and after an application or two, the scratch is gone. I've removed some pretty serious scratches with it that I thought would otherwise require wet sanding.
