Light Oxidization Forming on Stainless Tubular Running Boards

Hey Guys,

While going over some details in preparation for next week’s full detail on my Mother’s 04’ MDX, I noticed that the tubular stainless steel running boards started forming some sort of light oxidization near the end; the pictures show detail what I lack in explanation. The oxidization is light in the sense that I can use my finger nail to scratch it off; however it being stainless I don't want to scratch them with my nails?

Any ideas on what I should use?

Just to edit, looking at the pictures it does look like there is also light water spots etched into the stainless steel.

nevrdull is awesome. Also you can try a home-made solution of salt and lemon juice, that's good for cleaning metals, but I'm not sure if it will take it off.

Nevrdull is available at your local wal-mart

I like Flitz for metal polishing.

If you can find it, Autosol is freaking awesome.

I bought it from Crappy Tire years ago and I gave it to my cousin to use on his car's exhaust last year. I heard it's not available in Canada any more and you have to order it online. I plan to reclaim it next time I see him. :P
