"Leather seating surfaces"....

Ok, so I just bought some Lexol and Vinylex. My question is: exactly which parts of the seats/doors are leather and not leather. I'm certain that all the perforated parts are leather. And I think that the "sides" and back of the seats are vinyl. But how about the parts on the front/top of the seat directly next to the perf. part? And the headrests? Help?

I guess it's good that I can't tell the difference, but I don't want to clean the stuff with the wrong products...

For whats its worth..this is what I know to be true. ONLY the perf parts are leather (including seats, doors, steering wheel, and shifter knob). So the tops of the seats that are not perforated are not leather. Same goes for headrests. The only non-perf leather in the car is the shifter and handbrake boot, I believe.

This is why I use 303...because its made for leather AND vynol so I cant go wrong

aerospace protectant. I use it everywhere. Dash, seats, rubber tires, rims.

The big problem with 303 is it is hard to fine. According to the 303 website, the only place in the LA area that sells the stuff is NAPA autoparts, and there aren't many of those around.

the good think about Vinlyx is that it can be purchased at any Pep Boys.

Zaino has 2 leather products - one is a cleaner and one is a "treatment". I have used both and they rock (and they have mink oil, which make it smell like leather - it's kind of creepy)

Z9 and Z10 is what you want...
