Leather Care for 2006 TL

Can you use an all-in-one product such as 303, Meguiars or Turtle Wax that protects leather, vinyl, plastic, etc. on the TL since I'm hearing the leather is treated or laminated somehow? Do you use a conditioner like Lexol first and then a protectant like the above listed? I'd like to keep the interior in good shape but without the phony shine that comes from products like Armor All. The more I study on how to maintain my car the more questions I seem to raise. Thanks. Steve

i used 303 on pretty much every part of the interior (leather, vinyl, etc) and it looked great. it is true what people say...it will look shinier for the first few days, and then fade to a perfect matte finish.

after i received my zaino kit i tried their products (cleaner and conditioner...z9/z10) and it is AWESOME. 303 works equal or better for protection, i am sure, but the leather smell of the z10 is great and i highly recommend it.

There are several threads addressing this topic and includes what members prefer to maintain leather. Here are two recent ones.

As far as 303 is concerned, I feel it's one of the best protectants, not to mention popular, that is available on the market. However I would still recommend cleaning and conditioning at least once every 4-6 weeks. A weekly wipedown with a damp MF towel also helps. Maintaining your seats will will add the necessary preservatives and oils needed to keep them supple and looking natural.

I would try Poorboy's Leather stuff. It is great on the leather and works great on the trim and suck as well. It does not seem to last as long as 303 on vinyl but it is incredibly easy to apply and smells pretty good too.
