Question Klasse AIO or do I need a polish

I'm looking to do a full detail this weekend and have some minor swirls.. I just outfitted my kit with Klasse AIO but I also got some Menzerna Final Polish II just in case.

My question is: Does AIO have enough cutting power to remove light swirls and microscratches or should I jump right in with the Menzerna?

Polish with Menzerna's Final Polish II and then use AIO as a base for a sealant (if you are using a polymer it’s a ‘must-do’ as FPII contains oils) or wax

AIO may remove SOME light swirls but not the deeper ones. You'll probably have better results with using a Swirl Mark Remover like 3M or Meg's Pro #9. That should even out the clearcoat before yoy apply polymer.

I have used Meg's #9, then Klasse AIO/ SG (4 coats) and topped it off with S100.

Thanks for the responses ..

I started a panel with Menzerna FP and noticed a few heavier scratches were still around, so after I washed/clayed I did the old three step:
1) Menzerna Intensive Polish with a medium cutting pad on my PC.
2) Menzerna Final Polish with a light cutting pad. (Followed by a rub down with 50/50 mix of isopropyl / water to cut any oils and get any remaining dust off before the FMJ)
3) Menzerna FMJ by hand ... Eventually I'll layer on 2 more coats of FMJ.

Remarks:
  • MIP - worked fairly well, it was my first time with the PC and I had to learn to slow down my motion a bit but once I got my rhythm things went quite well .. it dusted quite a bit, but I'm still not convinced that It wasn't me instead of the IP (working it too long perhaps??)
  • MFP - really did a nice job evening it out, very easy to work with, no dust, no clogging of the pad.
  • FMJ - all I can say is WOW!!! the surface has got to be the slickest I've ever seen. Easy to put on and take off. Very reflective but not very deep. I've heard that depth comes with layers so I'll advise after I get the next two coats on.
All in all it made for a very long day but the results are def worth it IMHO.
