Kind of weird question
Kind of weird question
short version, my mom drove off from the gas pump with the pump still in the car, she said there wasnt any gas that spilled out of the hose that detached from the pump and all that and dealt with the gas station ppl. the next day she gets a call from a guy that was at the gas station when it happened and said that some gas got on his suburban and the paint is all blistered now.... should this be happening to a 2002+ suburban? hell, does gas even do anything to paint? i think hes just trying to pull a fast one since he saw how stupid my mom was and thought he could get away with it

he's trying to pull a fast one on your mom, even if not, I don't think she's reliable.
I've spilled glass on paint a few times and not washed it off immediately and haven't had a problem
I could see it maybe causing a problem overtime, but i'm not sure if it'd blister up in a day. I'd ask to see it.

i spill gas on the side of my car pretty much every time I fill up my tank. it doesn't do anything except maybe strip off some of the wax.
they use rags soaked in gas at carwashes to wipe off smudges from black sole shoes on the sills and other marks.
probably not the greatest thing in the world for the paint, but it definitely won't cause bubbles or anything like that.
