So my car got keyed on the driver's side for about two feet. Only the middle part of it is relatively deep. The paint's chipped in three places near where my door meets the body of the car.

What should I do to take care of this? Getting the whole care repainted is out of the question, so what can I do to keep the chips from rusting or getting even more damaged??

Any reliable body shops in the greater Boston area?? (Natick, Wellesley, or even Lexington...)

you can always touch it up with touchup paint and it will still look good. instead of rewriting the whole thing, read this article i tried it on a gray saturn and it came out perfect and im working on it on a few long scratches on my bluegreen CL, so far so good.

the best thing to do is get the whole door repainted i had my door keyed in deep my self and it was so deep that i had no choice but to repaint my door and being that my car is silver, this was a hard color to match up with the rest of the car if u want a body shop in the new york area i could refer one to u

 

Dude having your car keyed is one of the worst things a person can do to you (mentally). I used to have a black Eclipse and someone keyed the living fuck out of it.. all the way down the passenger door, and fron the middle of the roof all the way to the side. I was sooo damn pissed off...I feel your pain bro....anyhow, I had to get the whole door and roof repainted...find a place that has good reputation and good warranty. good luck
