Well I went all out, as Shawn recomended. Got ZFX, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7 and the Clay Bar. Washed her down with Dawn, used the clay bar and applied my first coat of Z5. Tomorrow I'm going to put a coat of Z2. Looks great. Pics coming soon. Thanks for info guys.

I called Zaino and he recomends not using Z1 and using the "NEW" ZFX. The car looks soooooo shiny. It's smooth as glass. Can't wait to get the 2nd coat on.

 

Nope, no Z1 is needed when ZFX is used.

 

Z1 IS WHAT BONDS THE POLISH TO THE PAINT.

 

ZFX accomplishes the same thing (I am told)

 

ZFX helps z2 dry faster too.

 

That is TRUE.

ZFX is mixed with Z-2 or Z-5 and allows you to put up to THREE coats on in one day and you never need Z-1 again.
