They sell them at Target for around $30, but that has 2 in there, a small and larger one.
But I thought the California Water Blade was the cousin to Zorro the gay Blade?

I used it a couple of times, got sick of the horrible noise it makes and went and got the 'Absorber' from walmart.
The water blade for me never really dried the car, just kind of spread the water around. I had to go over the car again with a MF towel anyways.

I got one like 2 years ago from california car covers when i bought a cover from them. It seemed to work at first but than it seemed to leave light scratches. I dont know if the blade was dirty or what. Now it just sits in my garage Be careful with it

I've been using it for 2 years. A good hint is to keep it submerged in a bucket of hot water to keep the blade very pliable. It has never scratched mine but if you are not careful and pick up a piece of dirt it will scratch. Costco is selling them for $20 withan absorber with it. It's also a seasonal item at WalMart.

I use to use a Waterblade and except for the noise it worked fine. But I would occasionally hear about problems with scratches and so I stopped using it. Now I use an electric leaf blower which works better than the water blade and can't scratch because it doesn't touch the car. Mine is rated 200MPH and I've been told that the higher the rated speed the better they work. The only thing you need to watch out for is blowing dirt, catching the cord and having it pull the nozzle into the car, getting to close and having the nozzle suck itself into the car and water spots. Now I keep my hand at the nozzle to prevent it from being able to touch the car and I try to remember not to point it at the ceiling or I get to rinse the car again.

Doesn't anyone use a real shammois any more? It only takes about 10min and it definatly does not scratch the car. One of you guys said you use the waterblade, the absorber, and a towel. Why not just use a leather shammois and save some effort, time and money. This is just my opinion though.
