Intervals for clay baring
I just have a couple of questions. How often are you supposed to clay bar vehicle paint?
And secondly, what should be done after you clay bar, I am assuming you would wax, then use a quick detailer, correct?

Needs more Lemon Pledge
Clay when you feel (or see) contaminants in the clear coat. Use a plastic baggie over your fingers to check the surface of the paint. If it feels rough after washing it clean, clay it.
Claying should remove all the surface protection you put on, so be sure to add either a wax or sealant (or both) afterwards.

You can go to a Pepboys or Autozone and get the Mother's Clay Bar Kit, or the Meguiars Clay Bar Kit. It comes with two bars of clay (which is more than enough for plenty of cars), a microfiber towel and a bottle of quick detailer. You can get it for less than $20.
