Interior plastic scuffs

I have some scuffs from shoes hitting/scraping the lower part of the black plastic interior door panel right where the map pocket is. The scuffs show up as a lighter color than the rest of the panel. What is the best way to remove the scuffs from the door panel??

for my 3G i bought some "303 Aerospace Protectant" and sprayed it on... the scratches faded, and now they are barely visible.

Ya know once anything is scuffed in your interior, chances are its there forever. You simply cannot make abrasions go away. Good example is a light road rash on your arm. You can hide it with a little lotion, but once the lotion fades or dries out, guess what returns.
303 is an excellent choice for masking though!
I wish vinyls and leathers healed themselves!

The scuffing looks even worse and is more visible on gray interior panels. Feel lucky that you have black. The darker colors are less likely to show lighter scratches for some reason (based on my experience with black interior loaner). I've become so anal about plastic scratches that I've spent over $200 replacing interior plastic panels that draw my attention with scratches. The most common are the kick panels, doors, b pillars (where the seatbelt hits against when not in use), and the back of the center console where people sit in the back seat and kick their feet against.

I do have 303 Aerospace Protectant which I will use for now. I have been reading up on the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Any try using it to remove scuffs from plastic and does it work or will it cause more marks?

I've tried the Magic Eraser, worked pretty well on my '05 RL on the plastic scuffs/kids kicking the back of the seats and didn't discolor or dull the plastic at well. Just rub gently, then put on the 303 as folks mentioned above.
