Interior detailing - tips and tricks of the pros?

Just purchased an '04 and this thing is in desperate need of an interior detailing job. Other than armor all, is there any general consensus on what products to use on the vinyl, leather, etc. to protect and spruce it up? My plastic on the dash and elsewhere has quite a few very light scratches - so light that you can't feel them when you run your had over them. But it still bothers me cosmetically. Wondering if anything will remove those. Any advice would be appreciated as the previous owner left the thing in pretty bad shape. (Hey, he was a 77 yr old guy, what can you expect?). I'm really wondering what the professional detailers use to get interiors looking brand new again.

Start with some microfibers and real warm soapy water (and Woolite).
About 2oz per gal of water.
If its super nasty, use some all purpose cleaner instead of soap. (read label for dilution ratio's)
I like using Optimums Interior Protectant. Nice matte sheen. Use it on everything but glass!

I have always used a splash of woolite in a gallon of water, both dark and light headliners. Not sure if it is recommended but it works

So some woolite and water should help clean the interior...
But what would you use to clean the cloth i.e. the pillar bar where the side curtain airbags are? A microfiber cloth as mentioned above?
