Recently I messing around with my cousins car doing some detailing ran out of a fine compound for swirl removal and I realized I had some swirl x sitting in the corner of my garage, now granted it is not the perfect thing to use but since I was going to be polishing anyways I said hell with it he uses it as a beater anyways and he gave me the thumbs up, used it and I was surprised at how well it worked with an orange pad, it wasn't amazing since it was rather fine but a pass or two got the job done.

Anyone else have input on a over the counter product that surprised the crap out of them?
