Ideas on removing duct tape residue
So one day my window motor stopped working. To rememdy, I duct taped the window over the edge of the door and around the side edges of the door as well. This baked in the Cali sun for 3-4 weeks until I got around to replacing the motor.
NOW, I have dried up duct tape residue all over the edges of the door.
I've tried goo gone without much luck. Goof off on the other hand worked pretty well but was taking forever to eat through the remnants of adhesive and was fading the paint around it.
Any ideas how to safely and quickly remove this without damaging the paint?
TIA

Over Caffeinated
WD-40 or mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip). Do NOT try this in the sun. Elbow grease will be required.
Also, NEVER apply duct tape to anything you ever want it off of!
