For all of you guys and gals who have to fight snow in the winter, If it snows overnight what method do you use to clean off your car. It snowed ~5 inches here in Richmond last nite and I went out and wiped the snow off gently, but under the snow was a LOT of Ice on my car. What's the best way to deal with this and not scratch the paint?

 

warm/hot water or just let the sun melt it off

here's something yer gonna get a kick out of...

slide the sunroof shade open all the way and crank up defroster full blast @ 90...the hot air will rise and not only melt the ice on the sunroof, but it'll also melt the entire roof b/c the air goes inbetween the interior lining and the actual sheetmetal
