As much as 18 degrees difference? Glad Im not a farmer relying on these services! I trully hate So Cal Summers.

HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL CONTINUE TO BRING HOT TEMPERATURES ACROSS INLAND AREAS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH THIS WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE VALLEYS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED TO RANGE BETWEEN 95 AND 105 DEGREES. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE ANTELOPE VALLEY ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE BETWEEN 100 AND 108 DEGREES.
This will be the 3rd weekend I have cancelled detailing!

That's not hot.......

After living the past 6 summers in the East Coast, I'm actually enjoying this dry heat.

Detailing in a closed garage with the afternoon sun shining on it's door is no fun though.......

They bitch when its raining, then they tell us to conserve water.
They bitch when its "terribly" cold out ((which is anywhere from 50-65) then they bitch when its hot out (anything over 80)
I say quit your bitchin, leave your opinion out of the equasion, and just do your dang job.
If I was a weather reporter, it would go something like :
"You'd love Death Valley, consider moving." (90-115)
"Gonna be hot today." Done (80-90)
"Gonna be warm today, beach weather." (70-80)
"Perfect, call in sick." (60-70)
"Kind a cool today." (50-60)
"Snuggle up with the Mrs.'s today." (<50)
"Heavy rain."
"Rain"
"Cloudy"
"Fog"
"Battin down the hatches, Santa Anas are on their way."
"Windy"
"Breezy"

None of you have ever heard forecasting B.S. at it's finest unless you've been in Portland when it's snowing or they are expecting snow. Doesn't matter how much has fallen or even if it's here yet, they all go into freak-out mode and start screaming about the "Blizzard of '08" or whatever year it is. There will be an eighth of an inch of snow on the ground and some reporter will be dressed for -40º conditions, standing on an overpass and screaming into the camera. "BOB....IT'S BEEN COMING DOWN STEADILY NOW FOR THE LAST FIVE MINUTES!!! AS YOU CAN SEE IT'S NOW COVERING THE SIDEWALK AND THE ROADS ARE VERY SLICK!!!" At this point he or she will bend down and scrape up a tiny bit of snow and shove it into the camera. "LOOK!!!!! IT'S STICKING TO THE GROUND!!! SEE!!!! THIS CAME OFF THE GROUND!!!"

Then the camera will pan down and you'll see one moron crawling down a wet highway at 15 mph with chains and studded tires on. Happens every year...

Up here we rely on the old indians weather rock .. Hangs on a pole.

........______
.......: ...... |
.......: .......|

.......: .......|
...... O ..... |
................|
................|
.........____|_____

If the rock is dry & bright its sunny out
If the rock is dry & dull its cloudy
If the rock is wet its raining
If the rock is moving its windy
If the rock is white its snowing
If you can't see it it's nite time.

Seldom wrong.
