Huge scratches on lip...HELP!

So its exactly one week away until the Massachusetts meet and I had to fock up my car. Here are some pics:

Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix these scratches? I want to at least get rid of the yellow and white marks...I'm still steaming about the whole situation, but I was straight out teary mad last night.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Try a claybar first. If it's paint transfer, it should remove it (use a lot of lube). If it's scratched/gouged you may have to seek advice from a paint/body shop.

I've never claybarred before so this should be interesting. I don't even know where to start...I'll have to do some researching.

See this thread and you can also check Autopia. You should be able to get it at Autozone, Kragen, etc. Look for Meguiar's Quik Clay Detailing System, Mothers Clay Bar Paint Saving System, or Clay Magic Just Spray & Clay (Autozone).

I had a paint transfer issue on my CG a while back as well. Claybar did about 60% of the work, for the rest I had to use an abrasive polish (I think Sonus SFX-1) and an orange Sonus cutting pad...

Though, looking at the second pic, it looks like you could use the services of the pro anyway. They could clean up the paint transfer and get rid of all your swirls at the same time...
