Question How/where do snow belters wash their car?

I've seen the threads for the techniques and what soaps/waxes to get... but it's so cold here the last time I tried to wash my car even when it was a few degrees above freezing point, the wind chill was low enough to freeze the water on the car!

Luckily the car doesn't have a lot of gunk on it and is kept in an unattached garage in the night time. All this said, where do you guys wash your car!?

I don't for the most part, unless we get one of those warm days of at least 40 deg and then maybe I will run down and spray it off at the car wash. But then again if there is snow on the ground that melts and your car gets filthy from the cars in front of you, so your car could be dirty by the time you get home. So this is why I pretty much do not wash it.

Two words...Optimum NRWS (ok, I suppose that's 5 words total).

Check out this thread (see page two for some of my pics)

Here's some threads like this one:

For those in COLD WINTER climates (by steve9207)

Fall/Winter car care (by exceldetail)

People in Winter Climate places..question inside (by lusid) - this one is more about product storage

I hope this helps...I know what you're up against (I'm in the Chicago suburbs) - I end up using Optimum NRWS about twice a week, and I've always got a spot free car (for a few days at most, haha).

I just found a $2 (4 min) spray your own today, I'll be spending my winter there until I get the NRWS.
