How to use a random orbital buffer properly?
I am about to buy an random orbital buffer to use on my CLS. But I first wanted to know the proper techniques when using a random orbital buffer (ie. how big of an area to do at a time, how long to stay over an area...etc.) Can anyone give me directions or advice on this so that I won't have any issues with my paint?
I reccomend the Poter Cable 7424 or the 7336 (which I own amd love!). Go to www.detailersparadise.com they have a nice kit with 1Z polishes and all the pads you'd need! I would also reccomend some Clearkote Vanilla Moose polish to put on with the buffer and a polishing pad.

Best advice, DO NOT hold the buffer in one place or put pressure on the buffer while it's running. Causes you to 'burn' your paint/harm the finish.
