how to remove water spots?

i have black rims with a mirror polished lip that i noticed lately has water spots. would anyone know how to get rid of them?

Distilled vinegar or a paint cleanser (chemical abrasive) would probably do.

don't let it dry on your rims, whip the water off before it dries out in the sun

The chemicals used in these paint cleaners are only slightly alkaline, so they will do no more damage to your wheel surface than a car wash solution would to your paint

Maybe if its surface contaimination, but if its etched you need polish. BTW Claying is going to induce a good amount of micro-marring.
