This is my friends pathfinder. She washes it maybe once a year, and it has never been waxed. Now, surprise surprise, her paint is starting to bubble and peel on the hood.

I told her if there was anything I could do to fix it I would... but I'm not sure if there is anything I can do besides getting the hood repainted.... anyone have any advice?

 

That looks like a lot of clear coat is peeling/flaking off. It will have to be painted IMO.

 

A good wash is about all you can do....Agreed, repainting is needed.....

 

dammit. If this could be fixed/helped with an orbital buffer she offered to buy me one


how much you think it costs to get a hood repainted?

If she's not going to take care of it, why even bother getting it repainted? Dumb...
