how do you guys polish roof?
My car is tsx.
Last time I polish my roof, what painful! I'm 5"11', and using stool, still hard to apply enough pressure over PC, so the results turn out un-satisfied.
Also how to polish the groves on the roof, there are some bad scratches. Hand polishing? Can I just use the microfiber to polish?

use a stool, for car's i use a single step about 6 inches away from the car, and also I drape a big Bath Sheet (48x72 inch towel) where I am standing to help protect the paint incase I fall over or something gets on my shirt/shorts.

thanks, csmeance and exceldetail.
Maybe next time I open the doors, as I'm alway afraid of scratching door panel by my clothes or power cable.
So my 2nd question is how to polish the groves?

Normally, the grooves on the driver/passenger sides of the roof for Honda and Acuras usually have a plastic insert. Does the TSX not have this insert? These grooves you are speaking about are nearly impossible to correct with a machine. I would use a foam applicator pad, elbow grease, and some patience to polish the grooves.

When I did my 4Runner I had to stand on the tires to reach the roof, yeah it sucked, but I compounded, polished, waxed, sealed, and all well worth it though. Oh and I'm 6'5" so you can imagine how high up I had to get to get that damn roof. Ankles/shins/calves hurt for 2 days afterwards, but was well worth it I guess
