How to clean and maintain?
How to clean and maintain?
Hello everyone. Being a first time car owner, i am still learning the tricks of the trade. I was wondering what are some necessary/useful products I should get if I'm looking for that sparkling clean look (Tires, rims, exhaust, full body, etc...). What are the steps I should take in cleaning and maintaining the clean.
Looking for any feed back. Thanks in advance =]

Seeing you're in Toronto, a trip to Canadian Tire will do wonders. They have everything sorted out for your needs, and every step as well. I'm partial the the AutoGlym products they have. Meguiar's and Mother's have some great products as well.
For a first-timer like you, I'd start with a basic wash, clay, and wax until you learn enough to get your hands on a Porter Cable or other buffer and do your own polishing. The time spent on these forums is invaluable, there are pages and pages of professional details done on various cars, and after a while, you'll have enough know-how to have at it yourself.
