How can I remove stubborn adhesives?
So, I have a 2005 NBP RL, and since taking it from delivery, I noticed that it had a line of adhesive crap that was left after taking off the protective white sheet that all new cars come with. It is most noticeable on the arches above the doors. There are some around the trunk area and the roof too. Anyway, I decided to tackle those suckers today, 4 years after. Haha...
Claybar doesn't work on it...
I tried goo-gone. Nothing.
Then I tried using a blow drier to soften it a bit, and then apply goo-gone. Nothing again.
Then I tried using the blow drier and a tooth pick to carefully scrape it off. Volia! However, this way leaves tiny scratches, and also very very time consuming and hard to get off every single little piece. So I'm kind of reluctant to keep using this method.
Would tree sap/bird crap remover found in local auto shops do the trick?
I'm planning on detailing the car, I'm wondering if the random orbital will help remove it...I'm really hoping that it will.
This is the best photo that I can get of it. Crappy camera...

Best adhesive remover I've used is the 3M Adhesive Remover. Can be found locally and is very powerful stuff. I'd recommend using that, follow up with a clay bar then polish to remove any marring / scratches. Looks like you could probably benefit from a good polishing session.
Good luck.

have you heard of this one? http://www.amazon.com/Un-Du-4-Ounce-...4790037&sr=8-6
seems like it gets really good reviews.
