HELP! Removing scrub brush scratches

Alright my mom decided to try and remove the love bugs off her brand new 4Runner using a scotch bright green pad. Needless to say the front of her car and mirrors are full of scratches. What should i do to remove them or are the bumper, hood, and mirrors destroyed? Wax lightens them but they are still very very noticable on the silver paint Thanks

OMG is all I can say....At a minimum, your going to have to invest $100.00 on a Porter Cable 7424/7336. The about $35.00 for pads....maybe another $35.00 for polishes, and naturally your sealant of choice........There going to need addressing with a fairly abrasive polish, no doubt. I did the same work for a friend of mine whos daughter wanted to do Dad a favor and used a scotchbrite for about 70% of a Black Camry....
Heres the before....[IMG][/IMG]
And heres the after...

Notice there are still some deeper scratches and etched water spots......but overall, much better, specially after the dust was wiped down and sealant was applied....This was about 18 months ago, and was a little more challenging back then....!
