Help! Not sure what this paint damage is...

Hey guys, I've got my fender repainted about 4 months ago because someone hit my parked car. Well everything looked fine and dandy until I went to detail my car. I didn't bother to detail this fender fearing I would cause more damage.

In the reflection I noticed two weird circley objects, and went to look closer, and it looked like damaged paint. I did my best to take pictures of it.

Does this look like its missing clear coat or something? That's my guess but I'm not sure... When I run my fingers over it, I don't really feel a difference.. What do you guys think this damage is? Should I bring it into the shop that repainted and have them re-paint it?

Thanks for the pictures. It kind of looks like a dry spot where the clear did not bond properly. It is hard to say. Since you can not feel the defect, I would take it back to the shop to have the "guys" evaluate it. A repaint may or may not be necessary.

Just don't try to do anything with it yourself before you go to the shop that painted it or they will end up saying it can't be fixed because "you" did something.

obviously good advice here...to me it jus looks like paint imperfections which are almost always present when dealing with repair work....but have it looked at and make sure they will repaint if you mess it up while detailing it....that is if they say its normal....if not normal have them redo it...
