Halogen light on a stand?

Any tips where I can find one of these bad boys?

Don't seem to have any luck finding it on Home Depot or Lowes website. I'm trying to buy it local since I'll be detailing the car this weekend. Thanks!

Ah, and of course I find one minutes after posting this.

Found it on Lowes.com and they appear to have it in stock at a local store! Is 500W enough or would you guys recommend a 1000W?

Personally I'd think you could BBQ with 1000 watts. Consider the bulk of the current consumed ends up as heat.

For another source, if you're near a Harbor Freight, you might check there. There's a 15% off coupon you can probably snag from a flyer in the stack at the front of the store.

Off topic but would you happen to know of any local stores that carry the Erasure pads for orbital buffers?

I forgot to order some smaller ones (for the bumpers and tight spots) from Exceldetail and I'm gonna be detailing my car either tomorrow or Saturday.

You can buy some halogens from Craftsman as well. I personally use 1000w but 500w suffices.

I'm not sure if you can purchase any Erasure pads locally but your best bet is to either find another vendor in the WA area or hit up an auto body paint shop. If you're really in a hurry, give Patrick a call and see about 1- or 2-day shipping what you need.
