Good Starter Kit?

I am looking for a good kit to have. I need to give my car one last good detailing before winter sets in.

I put together the following list, and would like some recommendations on it.

The car is a '06 NBP wNavi. Has some very minor swirl marks that no one really notices, but JUMP out at me because I know they're there.

ZKIT-2 Zaino Ultimate Protection Show Car Kit
Z-PC Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint Cleaner Swirl Remover
Z-12 Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish
Z-16 Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

There's really not much to say or recommend if you're going Zaino. Without a doubt, I think Zaino is an outstanding product based on the number of folks who use it. I also know there are other products on the market that have garnered a loyal following. But the one common denominator in detailing is surface prep. Regardless of what product is used, surface prep will determine the result.

Let me add an additional comment about proper use of detailing products. If they're not easy to use, you'll find an unprotected treasure in your garage or driveway. My point is, if your products of choice are not simple products to use, one thing will lead to another. Your impression of the product wont be favorable, therefore your not going to use it as frequently as you should be. Ultimately, your pocketbook, pride and vehicles surface pay the price.
Like anything in life, find something you enjoy doing/using, and do it frequently!

I would also recommend Optimum Poli-Seal (www.topoftheline.com) and polishes as they stay workable (liquid) for longer. ( the Optimum product line is ideal for the inexperienced or neophyte user as they are very easy to use and the polish remain clear enabling you to see wither the imperfections have been removed.

b) Foam Pad Starter Kit (Inc PC):
•Porter-Cable 7424
•1-Light Cutting Pad (Orange)
•1- Polish /light cutting (Green)
•2-Polish / Waxing Pad (Blue)
•2-Finishing Bonnets
•1-5-inch DAS FlexPlate Urethane Backing Plate
•Use speed # 4.5-5.0 for machine polishing
Autopia uses the above colours for their DAS Foam Pads (there matching SFX polishes are numbered the same as the foam pads, i.e. SFX Polish 1 matches the DAS Orange foam pad ) http://www.autopia.net

c) Foam Pad Starter Kit:
•1- Medium Cutting Pad (Yellow)
•1- Light Cutting Pad (Green)
•2- Polishing Pad (Blue)
•2- Versatile Pad (Orange) Rotary pad
•2- Finishing Pad (Grey)
•5-inch backing plate
•Use speed # 4.5-5.0 for machine polishing
Propel uses the above colours for their Excel Detail Propel Foam Pads
http://www.exceldetail.com/

d) Porter Cable Random Orbital Polisher 7424

I have a PC 7424 with the Edge pad kit. Just picked up more pads. 2 Blue, 2 orange, 2 white. I have used XMT 2 followed by XMT 1 in the past and stil have some minor swirls. Would the next step be going to a higher cutting pad, or a more abrasive polish? Also, would you all have recommendations on the poliush to use? Is XMT suficent?
