Good product to make your car look wet?
I want a good product that you can put on the car to give it that wet look. I see dealers do it all the time and it isn't a wax it's like a spray.......anyone got any ideas?

What your referring to is called a quick detailer something like zaino z-8. But I would put on a wax or sealant first before you use a quick detailer, something like zaino z-2.

My dad uses thier products on his 560 SEC, and 560 SL, and they always have that wet shine to them. He spent a whole weekend working with Ziano's products, just on one car and it was worth it. His black SEC looks like a mirror.

Meguiar's and Zaino are both good products, but I lean towards Zaino. Be prepared to spend about $60-$80 on everything you'll need... I think it's Z2, Z6 and Z8, but double check the website. Take a good 6 hours to detail your car and you'll get that wet look, but the Z8 is the part that will keep that wet look.

The best product for making your car look wet is Danase Wet Glaze (DWG). It is not a spray but it is one of the few products that does what it says without a bunch of hype.

DWG and FS UPP are one of my favorites on older dark colors. One of these days i will use it on the Expedition when I have a full day.....Just did a 105 on it, when I did the Tuf Shine......(Which UPS lost)

I love white cars! I think the best thing you can do for white is really deep clean the paint. Use a good light grade polish or paint cleaner to remove any oxidation or light swirls, and the paint comes alive. Another mandatory task with white is trim. If you can renew the trim pieces it adds contrast, which makes the white appear "whiter".....

there are various combinations that you can use and whatnot. Also the products help determine the look and duration of the wet look.
I personally use Z-7 Car wash soap to wash the car to get rid of dirt and grime first. Then I follow up with some Z-6 detail spray. If I want more of a wet gloss, I come back a few hours later and redo the z-6.
Also you can a good nuba wax to get that wet look.
