Glass cleaner on Navi Screen

Hey guys,

I was cleaning the inside of my front windshield when I realized that I had some Stoners Invisible Glass Cleaner running down the middle of my navigation screen (07 TSX) Anyway, I promptly wiped it off, then a few minutes later I dampened a microfiber towel and wiped it off. It looks ok, but would the Stoner's Invis. Glass Cleaner harm the screen? Can this glass cleaner actually be use to clean the screen?

Thanks!

i wouldn't use a glass cleaner since that may harm the screen. just get some computer screen cleaner. i usually use monster, costs like 10 bucks.

I started using an antistatic QD to help keep the dust down. The surface is slick and the dust is minimal. To prevent finger prints I use the top of my finger nail to select items on the NAVI.

I use the little piece of cloth that came with my LCD TV wetted down with some distilled water.

I use Windex?

Not only on my navi screen, but on my HD Plasma screen, and on my laptop screen, with a MF cloth. Always have. It might not be recommended, but it hasn't harmed anything at all, ever.

Probably won't harm anything. I work in IT and at our work we have LCD monitors and they have had so much crap on them and they still work fine. I have used windex, water, alcohol and they all work great. What actually works the worst is the LCD wipes that we used to order, those things streak like crazy. Anyways for my nav screen I usually just use a dab of water on a microfiber and give it a quick wipedown.

Same here, if you had to be absolutely paranoid I'd say don't do it, but otherwise I don't think it's a big deal
