Glass Cleaner

I have always had trouble getting my glass as clean as I like it, but I found a product this weekend my buddy had that works better than anything I have used. Its called Invisable Glass by a company named Stoner. Great name! Any ways this stuff realy works. Anyone else heard of it?

I have it... nice... I got 3 of those... once for the bath rooom mirrors... once for my CLS, and one for the Sienna...

You need to wipe it real good... and do it 2 times is better...

I'm using a can of it now, but I find that its no better then anything else out there (windex, alcohol...).

I've still never found a streak-free glass cleaner. I've gone to using a second dry microfiber cloth to remove the streaks after using the cleaner to remove the dirt.

I can't find Stoner's Auto Glass anywhere!

I swear I've looked in all the stores! maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

Also, does it contain ammonia? Because if anyone has tinted windows, they should not be using Windex or other products that use Ammonia. It damages the tint, I've been told.

Try useing papper towels instead of cloth towels of any kind. I don't have any stock in the company so if I didn't think it was better I would not have taken the time to post!

You can get it at O'Rily's Auto Parts. i don't work for them ether.
Also - It's "Invisable Glass".

I've tried it all. There is no perfect glass cleaner out there.

Newspaper, paper towels, microfiber, cotton towels...
Water, water with vinegar, this product, that product...

Everything leaves a streak. Sometimes it's subtle so you only notice it when the sun comes in at an angle the day after you clean.

My current technique of following the cleaning with a de-streaking with a near dry microfiber cloth seems to work. It's how I clean my sunglasses too.

I have the same problem with it - streaking. It appears to be the greatest thing on earth after you use it when your not driving into the sun, but just turn your head and look at any of the other windows and you'll (sadly) see streaking. If not locally available, you can order it online, but it is more expensive than at the local Pep Boys equivalents - probably because they also include some "special" cloths that you are supposed to use with the Invisible Glass (sounds somewhat similiar to what Zaino preaches in that Sal recommends not/not washing/drying your towels using any kind of fabric softener).

I use Invisible Glass from Stoners with newspapers and I don't get any kind of streaking. But you need to make sure you wipe it down good. Cloth towels suck...paper towels are okay, but I'm cheap and I'd rather reuse my newspaper.

Z6 Detailing spray works well on glass oddly enough...just like Zaino Leather in a Bottle works well on vinyl and plastic in addition to leather
