i got 8 little scrathes on the trunk area.(2 on the top left & 6 under the right side of the spoiler on the trunk , near the 3.2 cl sign) They are very superficial; so when you look at them at some angles you cant even see them. what are some suggestions, on how to remove them . i feel so raped!!! Go to the detailing forum and do a search...

Careful about using buffing compound for some benign looking scratches. The paint on our cars chips/flakes extremely easily. I had an innocent enough looking "scratch" on my bumper that ended up coming off entirely when I tried to wax over it carefully.

G/L and post if you find out any ways to keep the scratches away.

When you're drying her, watch your rings! I have a nice intermittant one that arcs under the spolier. Then I realized it was my stainless steel knurled engineering ring that left it. I was choked...... :o

If you can feel them with your fingernail, you need to use a product that has both abrasive and filling properties.

I suggest starting with 3M Swirl Mark Remover and see if that helps.

This could be as simple as using a little Meguiars Cleaner Wax.

I used some of that "Turtle Wax Color Repair" on my wifes G20. Went with the black because the car is a very dark green metallic...Turned out awesome!!! All small imperfections are GONE!!!!
