fix me up guys!!
ok im looking at getting some really good care washing suplies and i need to no what to get, rite now im using all miguars nxt stuff and its nice but is there anything better than that? im looking for soap, tire shiner, wax, and anything else to give that wet deep look. thanks guys
i suppose you can try zainom blackfire and maybe some other products. there are feverant believers of each product here on this forum. nxt really isnt bad. i perfer zaino tho...just my
I also use Meguairs NXT on my NBP '02 TL-S. I have tried Zaino but didn't really like it that much as it left a greasy film. Meguairs has a really good tire gloss.
Stick with the NXT wash and wax. You might want to pick up some S100 carnuba wax at your local Harley dealership and top off your NXT with it.

NXT stuff seems to be a good go since a lot of my friends swear by them. I've never tried 'em but I'm quite happy with my current combo (Klasse AIO/ SG P21S) that gets my car thru the winter.
You might want to try out claying the car before putting on the protection. It does make a big difference especially on black or dark colors.
I use Armor All car wash 'coz it gives me better results. Meg's Crystal wash seems OK too, whatever brand is on sale and you can stock up on 'em.
Get a couple of good wash mitts. If you have old ones, use them for the bottom part of the car. You can never have enough Microfiber cloths as well. I have about 2 dozen small MF cloths for polishing and cleaning glass and about 4 MF drying towels and keep them in clear Rubbermaid boxes after being washed.
Keep up the shine with spray QD stuff like Mother's Showtime or Meg's #34 FI, Wax as U Dry is pretty good too in between washes.
For tires I use Meg's Endurance gel. (smells like grape Julep) and for the windows and the rims, I use Stoner's Invisible Glass or Gunk Foaming Glass Cleaner.
I also find California Water Blade being a good tool. It cuts down the drying time substantially.

As for the water blade, same deal .. I had used it successfully for an entire season .. no marks whatsoever, then i used it in the cold and left a bunch of straightline micro-scratches (almost swirls) ... drove me nuts. I still use it but only gently when the weather is 70 or higher ... seems to make a difference.
If your careful with both you should be fine.
