First time "PRO" Detail HELP

Man, up until now, I never really knew there was much available to wash and wax besides Megs and Turtle I've heard so many good things about the Meguiars lines, that I've been continually using that! I have HEAVY oxidation on parts of my car, along with heavy, heavy swirls on the NBP 05 TL. I thought it was hopeless, that or I needed to pay $$$ to have it repainted; the inexperience shines here, can you tell? haha
Anyways, I'm looking for some tips PLEASE to "professionally" detail my PITA black car. I do my best by hand, but I'm obviously not using the right pads, etc. I PREFER TO DO ALL BY HAND - I'm not good enough to use a UDM, etc - I'll probably ruin the clear coat. I need to order WHAT FROM EXCELDETAIL? HELP!
Tips would be great too - what does what, what pads to use, polish, compound, glaze, and how to use each?!??!?!?? WTF lol

THANKS!!!
Eric

What's your budget looking like? I could possibly itemize a startup package for you through Excel Detail with the right budget, hehe.

dude that'd be GREAT!
as for the budget...well something reasonable. i know the udm's 150! that's a little if-y, but i'm pretty sure i can afford the wax, polish, compound, etc. haha
i just want my car to look like brand new again! lol but again, i'm no pro!

Get the UDM or you ar just postponig the inevitable. Ifinally upped for the uDM - was using a Waxmaster previously and Meguiars products. The optimum polishes and sealants are woth the effort.

Well in my eyes, I see the UDM as a required piece of machinery to have your car literally look like brand new again. However, if you believe that it's something you won't need, throw out a numbered figure so I can see what I can do for you.

Check out this thread:

Maybe the way to go for you since you want to work it by hand.

Good luck.
