First experience with claybar
Hi all! today i finally spent the time and effort to test out mother clay bar. Well, it dind't work out as well as i expected.
I first use dawn to wash the car, and i sort of dried it off. Then i start the claybar business. Well, i did see some sediments stick on the yellow claybar. Is the claybar just suppose to remove dirt and stuff thats stuck on the paint surface ? or it suppose to remove some stain on the paint ? there seem to be some small blue spots on my black car if i look carefully under the sun. The claybar didn't remove those.
So now my claybar is kind of dirty, got lots of brown stuff stuck on it! , and according to the instruction, i should be able to do this three times with one claybar ? Is that recommanded by you guys ?
Is it ok to wax and polish with bounty paper tower ? or 100% cotton towel ?
thanx !

please dont use paper towels . . . get 100% cotton towels.
good news - they are on sale this week - till fri nite at The Bay stores - i think 45 or 55 % off - ROYAL VELVET - white.
I have sent lots of customers there this week . . .
and - if the clay bar is dirty - and you cant turn it inside out to expose a clean enough area - toss it !
thats old dirt, grit, tar, sap brake dust etc . .. i wouldnt rub it on my paint - even if you wanna get them flecks out
