Experience with De-Icers

Has anyone used the Prestone De-Icer Spray? What were you thoughts with it?

Does it really work? Does it cause the windshield to streak? Good/bad for the paint?

Have you tried any other De-Icers?

No - I'm not lazy. If can avoid scratching the windshield with the ice scraper when there is dirt on the windows, and tearing wiper blades, im all for it.

I use it all the time (prestone) it works great on light ice/frost and even heavy snow. It doesn't smear/streak either. It's safe for paint although I don't spray it on anything but the front window being sure not to get any on the paint just in case.

Try Prestone Ice Shield. I use it and it's great. Spray on before you go in for the night.
