Dried mud on car

Hey guys. I drove through the rain a while back and the sides of my car was all muddy and now dried. I tried washing the car and soaking it with the hose as much as I could but it won't come off.
Is there any product that I can purchase to dissolve the mud? I don't want to scrape my car with a spondge or anything like that

You need to get it soft before you physically remove it! And/or...hit it with hi pressure, just be careful of emblems and trim when using hi pressure.

Its not like ya went mud whomping right? I mean it not built up on there?
The most important thing you want to do is to try to remove the "mass" without physically touching it, hence a hi pressure stream first off. The you can wash it gently.

Just driving on the freeway and there was dust from a truck or something. Then it all hardened up after the rain. Kinda sucks. I don't want to be scrubbing out the crap with a sponge

Based on what you've said here, can I assume you've taken it to a do-it-yourself wash bay and hit it with the high pressure wash setting? That's always worked for me.

ehh, took it to a hand wash place and they still couldn't take it off. Receipt said if you're not satisfied they can do it again. But those mexican guys weren't understanding what I was say, so I was like forget it.

OK, I think we can conclude that its not mud. Next step? Get us a picture, but Im thinking a clay bar and/or paint cleaner is in order. As long as the main buildup (of whatever this is) has been removed.

Pictures would be nice if you're trying to do it yourself. Either that or you can contact me and I'll see what I can do for you.
