I've heard that you can minimize the pit appearance by going through the application and blending process multiple times. So it might take 4-5 sesssions, but if you're careful you can build up a layer of paint in the chip such that it looks maybe 80% to full correction. I haven't used the product, but I've researched others' experiences with it.

Can I "pre-fill" deep chips with the touch up paint in the kit or OEM paint, then "top it off" with the kit's color?

Heya. Can you post a update on this? I'm interested in buying the kit.

To be honest, I have the kit but had a fender repainted and didn't have a need to fill in any chips after that. I'm sure the New England winter will fix that by the spring and I'll be sure to update this thread when I have some experience with the kit.
