Door Visor care

I've been trying to find info online about caring for the door visors but other than the old "wipe it down with a soft cloth" nonsense there is nothing I can find. I have an acura tl-s with the OEM door visors and they have some water spots as well as what looks like light scratches (that or maybe it's just reflections on the plastic). Either way any suggestions on cleaning them and removing the water spots and scratches? I heard of PLEXUS PLASTIC CLEAN but not sure if that is correct or safe for it.

Thanks

Plastics polish up real well with any light grade polish..............I assume your referring to the aftermarket deflectors?

I have them too and you have to be careful with them.

Wash with a sheepskin mitt. Dry with WW towels.

I have never used much nore than Danase wet Glaze or 4* UPP on them outside of Megs. #10 plastic polish or Plastex on them to clean them up.

Always apply with a very soft M/F and remove the same way.

ok did my visors today,
used menzerna 203 and orange pad (im sure green would have been fine too)
menzerna 85 on white pad one visor and then on black pad on other one, didnt see difference, waxed with fuzion wax
turned out pretty good, about 90% what plastic supposed to look like.

thanks for the info but I have to ask...I know the pads you refer to are for a buffer and while I plan on getting one sometime for now I have to do it by hand. Can the menzerna be rubbed on by hand either using a microfiber towel or applicator pad? If so how much "elbow grease" is it gonnna need to get the best results?

not sure about doing it by hand. it wasnt designed for it so might not be very effective, keep in mind that buffer "rotates" up 6800 orbits per minute
