Do you get leather cleaner in between your perforated leather?

My seat's starting to crack so I got my old leather cleaner to restore my leather and as I was cleaning the cushion, I noticed bits of the leather cleaner getting stuck in the perforation. I'm sure some people have encountered this and I'm wondering what happens to all that gunk in the perforation and if anyone's found a solution....

Just apply it with 100% cotton towels, but make sure you apply frugally. Work little sections at a time and you won't have to worry about the cleaner getting stuck in the perforation.

Or of course you can look for the "spray" cleaners.

I have the same problem when using Meguire's leather cleaner and conditioner with a terry cloth towel. I clean out the perforated parts with a tooth-pick.

A soft pipe cleaner (the soft kind you find in hobby stores, not the hard bristled kind) or other kind of very very soft brush (like a baby's hair brush) I have found works well, too. I do a dabbing motion to poke out the blobs of leather cleaner left in the holes.

I also have a problem sometimes keeping the leather cleaner on the leather side, and the vinyl cleaner on the vinyl side. Inevitably, each stuff gets to the wrong side, no matter how careful I am.

when i apply the lexol conditioner, i just go all out wet the leather all over. then dry wipe with a microfiber towel. sometimes the pieces of microfiber fall off, and i just use the dirt devil to suck it up

I have the same problem, my way around it is to first work on the non-perforated sections first, then only use a cloth that is lightly-damped from the leather conditioner (don't over do it). Then it will go on the perforated section without clogging up the holes.

Some holes will still get clogged, so I just use a sharp wooden toothpick to clean them out.

I use Zaino's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, never had any problems with it.
