Do I need to wash after rain?

My car got a little rain on it today in a super hot and humid weather. Do I need to wash off the rain stains off right away? It shouldn't do any damage to my paint right? The last the I wax was about 1 month ago...

I would wash the car if it rained on it. Rain (ie acid rain) can etch the paint if you leave it on the car for a while, and the sun wont help. Then you would have to polish that etching out.

If it was me I would give it a quick wash, or use a waterless wash on the car.

I would do a quick rinse and follow up with a QD. Or as West mentioned, a waterless product like Optimum No Rinse or PB Spray & Wipe and then follow with a QD such as PB QW+ or Clearkote Quikshine. Those two will give the finish a "just waxed" look.

a quick water rinse followed up by a shot of t-waxes "ice" should make your whip look like the day you rolled it out of the acura dealer
