detailing the engine bay

detailing the engine bay

my engine bay is lookin kinda dirty..any tips to clean it up a bit??

wash the car as u normally would at the car wash... when your done with the rest you can do the engine with the engine degreeser spray thing... that way it will have had some time to cool down if you had some spririted driving.. unless its right down the street then you can do it right away and let it soak.. wash it down... thats about it.. wipe it with a clean towel (hoses and whatever else you see. you can armorall the hoses but they get greasy and arract more dirt if you ask me.

or go pay $60 dolla at a local deatailing shop to just do the engine.

i rather pay 60 to get it professionally clean. Cause when you clean the engine dont you have to cover up some things so they wont get wet? I rather be safe than sorry , especially witht the engine

Use the engine cleaner at the power wash. Then use the foaming tire wet, then wipe down everything. Looks brand new.
